Great relaxing weekend in Key West. I flew down on Friday night and checked into the Westin Resort and Marina, just off of Duval Street--nearby the famous Sloppy Joe's.

I had a balcony overlooking the water and marina. This is one of the few trips that I've just taken by myself. Lots of good food, good drink, and reading by the pool.

One of my favorite finds was
DJ's Clam Shack. I had lunch on the front porch there on Saturday (peel and eat shrimp) and dinner there on there that night (conch fritters and a lobster roll.) While I was eating the shrimp, this little guy came by to visit. I was glad I wasn't having chicken.
Sunday's lunch was also great-- an oyster sampler at Overboard Bar and Grill:
