MLK Salute to Greatness Dinner--Atlanta

I had a great weekend in Atlanta this weekend. Saturday night I attended the Salute to Greatness Awards Dinner and observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday. Truett Cathy, Founder of Chic-Fil-A, and Hillary Rodham Clinton were honored. (Above, me with Teri Harrington.)

My table was right beside Hillary Clinton's table. She sat beside Ambassador Andrew Young and across from Dr. King's sister, Dr. Christine King Farris.

New Year's at the Beach (NC)

For the fifth year in a row, I'm spending New Year's at the beach in North Carolina. It's Duke, Kevin, Jonathan, and I this year. It's cold out, but hot in the hot tub!
