
Jonathan, Mary, Beth, and I flew into Dublin on April 3, then took the bus down to Waterford. From Waterford, we cabbed just outside of town to a little village by the sea called Tramore, where we stayed at O'Shea's. (See picture in the live blog below!) It was a cute hotel, with a great view of the water from my window.

The day we arrived, the weather was cool and dreary. Perfectly moody for Ireland. And absolutely stunning.

We went down by the water for a while, enjoying the view. But pretty soon, we had to hit Murph's, a cute pub across the street from the hotel with a nice fireplace and great Guinness.

After dinner, Jonathan and I went into Waterford to the bar district on John street.
The next morning was beautiful -- so sunny! We had a full Irish breakfast, pictured below.
